Neurodiagnostics at North Oaks
If you have an illness or condition that might be based in the brain or spinal cord, such as headaches, seizures, dizziness or numbness, neurodiagnostic tests may be ordered for you. These tests assess the way nerves function to assist your healthcare provider in effectively treating your neurological disease or condition.
How Are Results Provided?
Results are provided to your medical provider typically within 48 hours of your visit. Studies are read by a board-certified neurologist with North Oaks. Your results will be provided to your medical provider.
What Are Neurodiagnostic Tests?
Technologists record electrical activity from the brain, spinal cord and peripheral nerves using a variety of techniques and instruments. North Oaks offers routine electroencephalogram (EEG), ambulatory EEG and video EEG monitoring.
