What is a CT Scan?

Using computer enhanced X-rays, CT scans can distinguish between bone, tissue, fat, gas, and fluid for clear results that help your doctor diagnose the problem and prescribe an appropriate course of treatment. CT scans are used to detect and diagnose:

How Are Results Provided?

Results are provided to your doctor typically within 48 hours of your visit. Studies are read by a board-certified radiologist with North Oaks Imaging Associates, and are available to your doctor in a CD format upon request.
