For patients recovering from major multiple traumas, North Oaks Rehabilitation Hospital provides comprehensive and intensive care. Our goal is to help patients regain their highest level of independence and functionality after experiencing severe injuries.
Our care team – including trauma surgeons, rehabilitation nurses, physical and occupational therapists, and psychologists – works collaboratively to create a tailored rehabilitation plan for each patient.
We focus on both physical and cognitive rehabilitation, addressing the wide range of challenges that patients may face following major trauma, including mobility issues, speech and language difficulties, and cognitive impairments.
We involve family members in the rehabilitation process, providing education and support to help them understand the patient's needs and how to assist in their recovery journey.
Recognizing the long-term nature of recovery from major traumas, we provide ongoing support and rehabilitation services even after discharge to ensure continued progress and adaptation to daily life.
