At North Oaks Rehabilitation Hospital, you are greeted with a compassionate, supportive environment. Each patient’s journey starts with a detailed evaluation to craft a personalized treatment plan, considering the stroke’s effects and any other medical conditions. Our CARF certified Stroke Specialty Program emphasizes enhancing your physical, cognitive, and communication abilities through comprehensive medical care, specialized therapies, and targeted services, with continuous progress monitoring.
We center our attention on both you and your family, engaging closely with you during daily therapy sessions and through family conferences. These meetings aim to clarify any queries and address concerns throughout your rehabilitation and in preparation for your discharge.
Referrals to our program can be made by your primary care physician. If you or a loved one requires rehabilitative care post-stroke, please contact us at (985) 542-7777 to discover more.
The admissions journey begins with a nurse's assessment of your stroke's impact and any concurrent conditions. Your care plan benefits from a multidisciplinary team's expertise, focusing on achieving the greatest degree of independence possible.
