  • Population health reports only 88 calls and 12 virtual visits yesterday. We have 45 patients scheduled for drive-through screening today. Next week we will operate drive through screening M/W/F. Altogether we’ve done 1,631 tests with 403 positive and 7 pending. Volume at the 3 walk-in clinics continues to be minimal, with only 30 patients yesterday.

  • NOPG will complete training of psychiatry providers on myChart virtual visits today. On tap for next week are Urology, Rheumatology and Pain Management.
  • MICU-2 will be converted back to PACU starting at 10:30 this morning. The plan is to move all COVID positive and PUIs to the surgery unit, using Tele North as Observation. We’ll move the few patients currently on Tele S to surgery, and reserve that space for overflow if needed.
  • Michele announced a change to the Employee Emergency Relief Plan. During times of emergency, pandemic, etc. employees cannot use leave without pay and the low census code will not apply. If PTO is available, they must use to their full FTE equivalent.
  • We received another shipment of supplies last night. Supplies remain sufficient to ensure safety of employees.
  • Employee Entrances: The Main Entrance (Signature Building) will close for the weekend at 5:30 today. Employees are encouraged to use the Tower Entrance from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., and utilize the ED entrance only after hours. The ED staff thanks you in advance.
  • Have a safe and relaxing weekend!
