Update, April 10, 2020

- Today is Friday, April 10, 2020.
- State Stats: 18,283 confirmed cases in 63/64 parishes, with 702 deaths.
Yesterday Louisiana had 2,014 hospitalized COVID patients with 473 on vents.
- North Oaks has 41 COVID-19 positive patients and 12 under investigation,
with 4 patients on vents. Yesterday we admitted 7 patients (either positive
or PUI), discharged 3 patients and extubated one patient.
- Employee wellness reports that 38 employees are self-isolating. Fourteen
employees returned to work yesterday and the return to work clinic is
booked solid today.
- Population health had 85 calls, performed 35 video visits and saw 46 patients
at walk-in clinics. Volumes are down, but acuity is up slightly.
- We saw 61 patients in the drive through screening line yesterday, and have
8 appointments for today (as of this morning.)
- In order to best manage the inventory and distribution of certain PPE supplies,
leaders have been asked to email requests for certain items to Gina McAndrew
by 10:00 a.m. each day. Gina will review each order and coordinate delivery.

- Rob reports that the models for Region 9 are showing that the stay-at-home
order is flattening the curve. Tell family and friends to keep up the

Mission Church has partnered with local PJs locations to offer hospital
employees, EMTs, police and grocery store workers FREE medium hot or iced
coffees today, April 10th. Both the North Oaks and University locations are participating.
- Donations of meals and treats continue through and weekend and into next week.
- Covey Rise will be on campus again today selling prepackaged fresh veggies
from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. NEW LOCATION – Outside Tower Lobby.
