Physical and Occupational Therapy
Our physical and occupational therapists work to improve your physical ability and motor skills by developing a treatment plan to condition muscles, restore strength and improve coordination during a recovery period.
Work Conditioning Programs
North Oaks designs individualized, work-oriented programs to restore a patient’s strength, endurance, movement, flexibility, and function so that they can safely return to work. We focus on motivation, safety, physical tolerances, and worker behaviors.
Functional Capacity Evaluation
The functional capacity evaluation (FCE) is a comprehensive evaluation of a person's ability to perform essential job duties. All North Oaks FCEs are performed using the WorkWell™ System, which assesses strength, endurance, motivation, fitness and physical impairment. A trained therapist evaluates the person’s ability to perform work from physical, medical, behavioral and ergonomic perspectives.
Audiology Program
Noise-induced hearing loss is one of the most common occupational issues and the second most self-reported occupational illness or injury. Our highly trained and certified staff provide hearing services that help protect people and ensure businesses meet all OSHA requirements.
