Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy (OT) helps you return to ordinary tasks around the home and at work through lifestyle changes. Our state-licensed occupational therapists (OTs) help you regain your independence in work, leisure and daily activities. Our OTs evaluate you and customize a treatment plan designed to maximize your physical potential. Treatment plans may include physical, mental, visual, and psychological training, as well as the use of assistive devices.

Depending on your initial evaluation and assessment, our OTs may recommend the following services for you:

  • Neuromuscular retraining
  • Cognitive retraining
  • Visual-perceptual retraining
  • Activities of daily living training, including dressing, bathing, grooming, and hygiene
  • Adaptive equipment recommendations/fabrication/usage training
  • Orthopedic rehabilitation including progressive range of motion, strengthening exercises, and splint fabrication
  • Wheelchair assessment/recommendations
