Physical Therapy

Physical therapy exercises specific parts of the body—typically the legs, arms, hands or back—to relearn movement or improve function. North Oaks Physical Therapists use physical activity to help condition your muscles, restore your strength, and get you moving. Our state-licensed physical therapists evaluate you to create your personalized treatment – and our goal is to get you back into life.

Depending on your initial evaluation and assessment, our Physical Therapist may recommend the following services for you:

  • Ambulation training/analysis
  • Transfer training
  • Functional training
  • Strength/range of motion training
  • Balance assessment and treatment including fall reduction and NeuroCom Balance Master®
  • Pediatric developmental/ambulation training
  • Aquatic therapy
  • Women’s health services including pre and post pregnancy, incontinence treatment, biofeedback and pelvic pain
  • Industrial rehabilitation services including work safety, injury prevention, functional capacity examination, and ergonomic assessment
