How Can I Qualify?
An applicant must:
- Meet the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics academic requirements.

Have a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution and a Verification
Statement. To view accredited institutions visit

Meet the minimum GPA standards for North Oaks Medical Center’s Dietetic Interns.
- Minimum Total GPA: 2.8
- Minimum DPD GPA: 3.0

Have a graduate degree or enroll in a graduate degree program while enrolled
in the dietetic internship.

How Do I Apply?
The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics has an
information page on the Computer Matching Policy and Procedures.

Submit an application through the Dietetic Internship Centralized Application
Service (DICAS). The DICAS website is accessed at
https://portal.dicas.org.

Submit the Dietetic Internship application fee ($40.00).

Be chosen as a finalist by the North Oaks Medical Center DI Selection Committee after:
- Submitting a complete application through the Dietetic Internship Centralized
Application System (DICAS) and application fee is received.
- Being notified of selection as a semi-finalist. You will be contacted via
email to participate in the selection interview.
- Completing the interview. Interviews are completed in March each year.

Participate in computer matching through D&D Digital Systems, (515) 292-0490.
- Students will be matched to the program through the Digital System.

MSNS Graduate Program Application Instructions:
Once match to the North Oaks Medical Center Dietetic Internship is confirmed,
you must apply to Fran U if selecting the Graduate Degree Track.
Your application will be reviewed when all required documentation is received
in the Admissions Office. NOMC interns will automatically be accepted
to the MSNS program, however, interns will still need to complete the
official application process for the Thesis track.
To be considered for enrollment in graduate courses offered by Franciscan
Missionaries of Our Lady University, the following information is required:
- Official transcripts from all colleges or universities attended, sent to
Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University, Office of Admission, 5414
Brittany Drive, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, 70808
- An overall grade point average of 2.75 in undergraduate coursework
- GRE score requirements are waived for NOMC interns
- A professional letter addressing goals, strengths, experiences, and interest
- Immunization records
- $50.00 non-refundable application fee
