Learn How to Improve Your Health by Implementing a Low-Carb Lifestyle

One tool to lower blood glucose levels when managing diabetes is following a diet lower in refined carbohydrates. A carb-controlled/low-carb diet restricts foods that are high in refined grains, such as pasta, bread and cereals and replaces them with less refined, whole food options.

Learn more about the benefits of a carb-controlled/low-carb diet from North Oaks Dietetic Intern Madison Loewe by attending a free seminar on Tuesday, Oct. 12, at 3 p.m. that will cover popular diets and discuss tools to implement in your day-to-day life.

Seating is limited and registration is required. Reserve your seat at www.northoaks.org/classes or by calling (985) 243-9106.
