Charles' Worst Fear Was Realized: Cancer.

I enjoy staying active in my community as a minister and teacher. Typically, nothing slows me down. But when a small red spot on my ear wouldn’t go away, I did the smart thing and had my doctor check it out. My ENT did an exam and biopsy, and my worst fear was confirmed: Cancer.

My doctor recommended surgery, and removed a cancerous part of my ear that was the size of a quarter – but you’d never know it to look at me. I’m as handsome as ever and back to doing the things I love.

Thanks to my surgeon and North Oaks, I’m cancer-free AND scar-free!
