Our Mission
The mission of the North Oaks Medical Center Transitional Year Residency Program is to nurture the next generation of compassionate and versatile physicians by serving as a bridge between medical school and more specialized residency training. Our program integrates the diverse backgrounds and life experiences of our residents, staff, and faculty to improve access to high-quality cost-effective health care to rural and underserved areas utilizing inter-professional teams combined with technology. We strive to become the region’s most trusted partner for graduate medical education by providing exceptional quality, safety, and experiences.
