NICU Graduates Invited to Return to North Oaks for Special Reunion on Dec. 6

Families whose children once received care in North Oaks Medical Center’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit are invited to a special reunion from 9 to 11 am on Saturday, Dec. 6.

The celebration will take place in the E. Brent Dufreche Conference Center, located in Building 1 on the North Oaks Medical Center campus at 15837 Paul Vega, MD, Drive. Each year, North Oaks hosts the reunion to celebrate the milestones of each NICU graduate, reconnect families with the providers who cared for them, and foster connections among families who have shared the NICU experience.

NICUs provide specialized care for babies born prematurely or with serious medical conditions. During NICU stays, families and caregivers often form deep, lasting bonds.

Now in its 34th year of service to the Northshore, the North Oaks NICU ranks among the top 25% of NICUs nationwide, according to the Vermont Oxford Network’s review of patient outcomes.
