As our community's healthcare needs evolve, so must our delivery.

Patient access to healthcare sets the baseline for all encounters within our industry. Patients who are physically unable to drive, face financial barriers or cannot find a convenient time to access healthcare outside their work or school schedules often go without medical attention. Without access, receiving medical care, building relationships with providers or achieving overall wellness may be impossible for patients.

As a result of generous donations from the North Oaks Foundation and its major donors like First Guaranty Bank, North Oaks aims to increase positive health outcomes across the community and further the mission of improving lives, every time and with every touch, through the introduction of our Mobile Care bus.

North Oaks Mobile Care serves as an extension of North Oaks Health System, bringing quality healthcare services where they are needed most — through easy and convenient community visits.

The clinic-on-wheels offers primary care and preventive support services, such as:

• Health screenings, including cancer, heart health, diabetes/pre-diabetes, blood pressure and cholesterol

• Immunizations

• Primary care and diagnostic services

• Risk assessments

• Health education and resources.

North Oaks’ Mobile Care is driving healthy change in our community by:
