Medical Assistant Nicole Honored as Employee of the Month

Medical Assistant III Nicole has received North Oaks Health System's Employee of the Month Award for March 2021.
In 2016, Nicole joined the North Oaks team as a Medical Assistant for Northshore Urological Associates. She also assists in coverage throughout North Oaks Physician Group.
“I love people! I love to listen to them, help them and leave a lasting impression on them to make their day brighter,” Nicole shares.
Nicole’s approach to patient care is built upon a personal vow she made to herself to treat every patient like a member of her own family.
“My patients should receive the care that I would give to my own mother, father, husband, brother, sister or child,” she explains.
Nicole graduated from the Certified Nursing Assistant program of Northshore Technical Community College.
Nicole and her husband Shawn make their home in Ponchatoula with 12-year-old Manzy and 4-year-old Nakea.
Away from work, Nicole prioritizes time with her children and involvement in her church, Westside Church of God in Christ, which is located in Ponchatoula. She sings in the church’s choir and belongs to its Lifegiving Community Developmental Center.
