Operations Director Gina Honored as Leader of the Quarter

Operations Director Gina has received North Oaks Health System's Leader of the Quarter Award for July-September 2021.

In Gina's nearly 22 years with North Oaks, she has served in a variety of areas, including in Case Management, Patient Safety and Compliance.  Promoted to Operations Director in 2016, she soon began leading the Environmental Services Team too. She also leads and contributes to building projects, equipment acquisitions and important roles in pandemic and hurricane preparedness and response.  In all of this, Gina stays focused on maintaining a safe environment where patients can receive high-quality care.

“I do my best to always focus on making things better for our patients,” shares Gina.

She was previously honored at Leader of the Month in August 2018.

Born in Hammond, Gina earned a bachelor’s degree in Business through Southeastern Louisiana University.

Gina and her husband Wayne make their home in Independence and have three children – Austin, 21; Colin, 17; and Mary-Kate, 12.

Outside of work, she loves to travel.
