Tropical Storm Sally

According to the National Weather Service, Sally is now a Category 1 hurricane and expected to be a Category 2 at landfall. While Sally's track has jogged a little further east, the possibility of tropical-force winds, rain and storm surge in some parts of Tangipahoa Parish remains.
Therefore, the following facilities will remain closed on Tuesday, Sept. 15 with plans to reopen for business as usual on Wednesday, Sept. 16:
All North Oaks Clinics in Tangipahoa and Livingston parishes
North Oaks Diagnostic Center
North Oaks-Livingston Parish Medical Complex
North Oaks Outpatient Rehabilitation Services in Tangipahoa and Livingston parishes
North Oaks Surgery Center.
All elective surgeries and procedures scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 15 will be rescheduled.
North Oaks officials continue to meet regularly and monitor the storm in close contact with parish and state officials, as well as the National Weather Service.

In consideration of Tropical Storm Sally’s projected path and in the interest of patient and staff safety, North Oaks officials announce the following temporary closures effective noon, Monday, Sept. 14, through Tuesday, Sept. 15:
All North Oaks Clinics in Tangipahoa and Livingston parishes with the exception of its Walk-In Clinics in Hammond, Ponchatoula and Walker which will be open until 4 p.m. Monday, Sept. 14, and closed Tuesday, Sept. 15
North Oaks Diagnostic Center
North Oaks-Livingston Parish Medical Complex
North Oaks Outpatient Rehabilitation Services in Tangipahoa and Livingston parishes
North Oaks Surgery Center.
In addition, all elective surgeries and procedures are canceled effective noon, Sept. 14 through Tuesday, Sept. 15.
North Oaks officials plan to announce decisions regarding services for Wednesday, Sept. 16, the afternoon of Monday, Sept. 14.
Visiting hours at North Oaks Medical Center and North Oaks Rehabilitation Hospital will likewise be suspended at noon, Monday, Sept. 14, through the duration of the storm. However, Emergency Department patients will be allowed one visitor, but the visitor will be required to leave the hospital when and if the patient is admitted.
North Oaks officials are meeting regularly as they monitor weather reports for Tropical Storm Sally and are staying in constant contact with parish and state officials, as well as the National Weather Service.
