Administrative Nursing Operations Supervisor Colette Receives Nurse Excellence Award

Administrative Nursing Operations Supervisor Colette has been honored with the North Oaks Health System Nurse Excellence Award for July 2020.

Colette joined the North Oaks Medical Center team in 2003 as a Medicine Unit Staff Registered Nurse. In 2006, she became a Flex-Ability Nurse for multiple areas of the hospital. She accepted a promotion to Administrative Nursing Operations Supervisor in 2008. In this role, she continues to enjoy collaborating with staff throughout the hospital to improve lives.

"Helping others is my calling," shares Colette.

Colette earned a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Southeastern Louisiana University.

She lives in her hometown of Mandeville with her husband David and their children – 11-year-old Adeline, 8-year-old Evelyn and 7-year-old Levi.

Away from the hospital, Colette devotes her time to homeschooling her children.

"Colette represents North Oaks in an outstanding way," affirms North Oaks Patient Services Director Edna Scott. "Her compassion for our patients, their families and her coworkers is boundless, and she enthusiastically helps others in a way that makes them feel accomplished."
