General Surgery Unit Staff Registered Nurse Brittany Receives Nurse Excellence Award for May 2017

General Surgery Unit Staff Registered Nurse Brittany has received the North Oaks Health System Nurse Excellence Award for May 2017.
"I strive to make each patient feel like my only patient," shares Brittany.
Brittany joined North Oaks in 2014 as a Staff Registered Nurse on the General Surgery Unit and frequently assists as a Relief Charge Nurse.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Southeastern Louisiana University and graduated from Our Lady of the Lake College’s nursing program in 2013.
The opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of others attracted her to her chosen profession.
A native and resident of Baton Rouge, Brittany loves international travel. Her goal is to tour as many new countries as possible.
“Patients praise Brittany’s bedside manner and the way she goes above and beyond to make a difference,” affirms Jackie Carr, Post-operative Director.
