Dr. Sana Moqeet Joins North Oaks Pediatric Clinic in Hammond

North Oaks Health is excited to welcome pediatrician Sana Moqeet, DO, to North Oaks Pediatric Clinic in Hammond. She is currently accepting new patients.

Dr. Moqeet specializes in pediatric services for infants through age 18, from well-baby and well-child exams to immunizations, preventive care, and treatment of illnesses. Her areas of special interest include newborn care, pediatric obesity prevention and treatment, and child and adolescent mental health.

“I love working with children and walking alongside their parents,” she shares. “There's something special about being a trusted source and confidant for families, whether it's a first-time parent or one who's been through it before.”

Dr. Moqeet’s recent leadership role as Chief Pediatric Resident at Loyola University has deepened her passion for newborn care and supporting new parents.

“That experience sharpened two things I bring to every family: the clinical range to handle anything from a routine check-up to a sick visit, and a genuine love of teaching,” she explains. “With patients, that means taking the time to explain, educate, and make sure parents truly understand their child's health.”

Dr. Moqeet earned her undergraduate degree in biology from Loyola University Chicago and her medical degree from Midwestern Universityin Downers Grove, Illinois. She completed her three-year residency through the Loyola University Medical Center Pediatric Residency Program and has also served as an instructor for the Stritch School of Medicine.

Dr. Moqeet joins other North Oaks Pediatric Clinic physicians, Drs. Elizabeth H. Fritz and Samuel A. North Oaks Pediatric Clinic is located at 15756 Medical Arts Dr. in Hammond. Clinic hours of operation are 8 am to 5 pm on weekdays.
