North Oaks Ranked among America’s Best Employers by Forbes for 2025

North Oaks Health System has earned two prestigious national honors from Forbes for 2025, being named both to the list of America’s Best-in-State Employers—ranking #11 in Louisiana—and to the inaugural list of America’s Best Employers for Healthcare Professionals, ranking #83 nationally.

North Oaks stands out as one of Louisiana’s highest-ranked healthcare systems on both lists, reflecting the organization’s deep commitment to its employees and the communities it serves.

To compile its America’s Best-in-State Employers list, Forbes—in partnership with market research firm Statista—surveyed more than 160,000 employees across all 50 states and Washington, D.C., asking participants to rate their employers on factors such as work culture, wage parity, professional advancement and responsiveness to workplace issues. Companies with the highest scores in each state earned a place on the list. Thirty-five employers earned a place on the list for Louisiana.

For its America’s Best Employers for Healthcare Professionals list, Forbes and Statista surveyed more than 17,000 healthcare and social services employees nationwide. Respondents evaluated employers based on wages, working conditions, schedules, career advancement opportunities and safety. Only the top 250 healthcare organizations in the country were selected.
