Credentialing Specialist Casey Honored as Employee of the Month

Credentialing Specialist Casey has received North Oaks Health System's Employee of the Month Award for June 2023.

Casey joined the North Oaks team in 1999 and is very proud of her 24-year tenure with the health system.

“I love being a part of this team! No two days are the same,” she notes. "North Oaks really is the heart of the community!"

Before becoming a Credentialing Specialist with Physician Services in 2019, she gained experience in Payroll, Hospice and Employee Wellness.

“As a Credentialing Specialist, I help medical staff members and allied health professionals secure their hospital privileges so that they can begin caring for our community,” explains Casey.

Casey was born at North Oaks and graduated from Ponchatoula High School.

Along with her husband Brad and children Logan and Sarah, Casey calls Ponchatoula home.

She looks forward to annual beach trips to Orange Beach, Alabama and enjoys reading a good mystery book.

“Casey rises to every challenge she encounters with unwavering focus, attention to detail and a strong work ethic," asserts Physician Services Director Stephanie Kropog. "We are truly fortunate to have such a valuable professional on our team making a significant contribution to our success.”
