Jarreau Named to New Orleans CityBusiness 2026 Human Resources Power List

Jeff Jarreau, Chief Human Resources Officer for North Oaks Health, has been named to the 2026 New Orleans CityBusiness Human Resources Power List, recognizing him among the Greater New Orleans region’s most influential business leaders.

The publication’s annual Human Resources Power List honors professionals whose leadership, expertise and accomplishments are advancing the profession and strengthening organizations throughout the region. Honorees are selected based on professional achievements, industry impact and their ability to drive organizational success.

As North Oaks Health’s Chief Human Resources Officer, Jarreau leads the organization’s talent and people strategies, overseeing recruitment, employee engagement, leadership development, compensation and benefits, wellness initiatives and organizational culture. He guides human resources programs that support more than 3,000 employees, as well as nearly 100 clinical affiliations and educational partnerships.

Under Jarreau’s leadership, North Oaks Health has expanded innovative workforce development programs designed to strengthen the healthcare talent pipeline and create pathways for career advancement. These efforts include the North Oaks School of Radiologic Technology and accelerated licensed practical nurse pathways developed in partnership with Northshore Technical Community College. Additional accelerated pathways are in development to support patient navigation, professional growth and regional nursing capacity.

Jarreau’s recognition follows his inclusion on Becker’s Hospital Review’s 2025 and 2026 lists of “Chief Human Resources Officers and Chief People Officers to Know,” which recognize healthcare human resources leaders who are shaping organizational culture and advancing employee engagement and innovation.

North Oaks Health’s commitment to creating an exceptional workplace has also earned national recognition. In 2025, the organization was named a Forbes Best-in-State Employer for Louisiana and recognized among Forbes America’s Best Employers for Healthcare Professionals.

Jarreau graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. He holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute and the Senior Certified Professional designation from the Society for Human Resource Management. He is a member of the American Society for Health Care Human Resources Administration and the Society for Human Resource Management.
