Certified Nursing Assistant Claudette Honored as Employee of the Month

Certified Nursing Assistant Claudette has received North Oaks Health System's Employee of the Month Award for June 2022.

Now in her 25th year with North Oaks, Claudette joined the Rehabilitation Hospital team in 1997 as a Certified Nursing Assistant and later served as Patient Activity Coordinator. She transferred to the OB/GYN Unit at North Oaks Medical Center in 2006 as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

“Improving lives with love, respect and care is my personal mission statement,” shares Claudette.

Claudette lives in Kentwood and has four grown children—Serrick, Lanara, Rainard and Jarrell. She also has seven grandchildren—LaKirsta, 22; KeJuan, 20; Cornelius, 20; Sh’Colby, 18; Travion, 11; Chloe, 9; and Raylynn, 7.

Spending time with family and friends and going to football games are Claudette’s favorite pastimes. She also belongs to Brown’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Tangipahoa, where she assists with community outreach as a member of the Hospitality Committee.

“Claudette is known for her positivity and excellent listening skills," asserts Women & Children's Services Director Tamara Mitchell. "She is solution-driven and consistently steps up and looks for ways to support her coworkers and make a difference for our patients.”
