Dr. Daniel Linarello Joins North Oaks Surgical Associates

General Surgeon Daniel Linarello, M.D., FACS, has joined North Oaks Surgical Associates in Hammond effective June 1. New patient appointments are now being scheduled. To make an appointment, call (985) 243-9022.

A fellow of the American College of Surgeons who is certified by the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Linarello is no stranger to North Oaks Health System and the Northshore community. As a member of the North Oaks medical staff for the past 20 years, he has cared for area patients as a physician in private practice.

Now the newest member of the North Oaks Surgical Associates team of employed providers, Dr. Linarello shares that he is looking forward to helping to enhance the already advanced surgical services offered by the health system. Dr. Linarello is certified and highly skilled in the performance of minimally invasive procedures, including advanced laparoscopic and da Vinci® robotic surgical techniques. Many procedures can be performed on an outpatient basis to address complex health conditions, such as colon cancer, gallbladder disease and hernia issues.

“For me, working in medicine is the ultimate way to give back to my community and help others in need,” Dr. Linarello notes. “Using my surgical skills to immediately impact the health of my patients is very rewarding.”

Dr. Linarello completed both an internship and residency in General Surgery through Ochsner Foundation Hospital in New Orleans. He earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans.

North Oaks Surgical Associates has locations in Tangipahoa and Livingston parishes. The Hammond clinic is located in Suite 108B of North Oaks Office Plaza at 15770 Paul Vega, M.D., Drive. The Livingston office is located in Suite 210 of North Oaks-Livingston Parish Medical Complex, 17199 Spring Ranch Road. Clinic hours of operation are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays.
