Ambulatory Care Pharmacist/Pharmacist in Charge Ashley Named Employee of the Month

Ambulatory Care Pharmacist/Pharmacist in Charge Ashley has received the North Oaks Health System Employee of the Month Award for July 2016.

“Helping to ensure the safety and effectiveness of prescriptions, while providing lower cost alternatives when available, is my way of contributing to high quality care and positive patient experiences," Ashley shares.

Ashley joined North Oaks in her current position in September 2014.

Her work at a pharmacy after graduating from high school sparked her interest in pursuing a career in the field.

She completed Southeastern Louisiana University’s pre-professional Pharmacy program through the Department of Biological Sciences and went on to earn her doctorate in Pharmacy from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.

A native of Houma, Ashley now resides in Covington with her husband Conrad.

Away from work, Ashley values time with family and friends and can often be found enjoying a good book or horseback riding.

Ashley loves animals and dreams of having a farm someday.
