Telemetry Unit Staff LPN Mendy Receives Nurse Excellence Award

Telemetry Unit Staff LPN Mendy has been honored with the North Oaks Health System Nurse Excellence Award.

Mendy joined the North Oaks team in 2010 in her current position.

She earned an associate degree in Applied Science and Practical Nursing from Our Lady of the Lake College in Baton Rouge.

She lives in her hometown of Amite with her Maltese, Lucy.

Away from work, Mendy tends to her garden and spends time with her two nephews, Jacob and Jadon.

Currently, Mendy is pursuing an associate degree in Nursing through Southwest Mississippi Community College in Summit.

"With steady purpose, Mendy sees to it that her patients receive the exact care they need. Her readiness to lend a helpful hand, share her knowledge and bring forth new ideas to improve patient experiences inspire teamwork and high morale among her coworkers," affirms Telemetry Unit Clinical Nurse Manager Jason Lindsey.
