I was 47 years young. I had no pain or symptoms. And then my life changed
in a heartbeat. During a
routine check-up, I learned I was at high risk for a heart attack, and was given a
stress test. My busy career and vacation plans were suddenly put on hold for life-saving triple
bypass heart surgery.
My family and I realized how fortunate we were when my physician remarked that the blockage was in the artery they call the “widow-maker.”
I am here today because of the phenomenal care from the physicians and staff of North Oaks Heart Health Services. I can truly say, “I am Blessed!”
