Physician Assistant Dayana Frazer, PA-C, has joined North Oaks Cardiology Clinic’s growing network of providers.
Frazer will work with the cardiologists to provide comprehensive heart health care, inclusive of heart disease prevention and management, as well as diagnostic and interventional cardiology services.
Frazer earned a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from LSU Health New Orleans after graduating from University of New Orleans with a bachelor’s degree in biology. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
During clinical rotations, Frazer discovered a passion for cardiology as a rapidly advancing field. She was specifically drawn to caring for patients with coronary heart disease, heart failure and atrial fibrillation.
“I find the most rewarding aspect of my job is making a difference in someone’s life and belonging to a team that ensures all patients receive comprehensive care,” asserts Frazer, who is fluent in both English and Spanish. “I chose to practice at North Oaks because I have always envisioned myself working with an organization that prioritizes high quality patient-centered care.”
Physician assistants are nationally certified, state-licensed medical professionals who practice on medical teams under the supervision of a physician.
