Nurse Practitioner Sarah Rick Joins North Oaks Primary Care in Livingston

Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner Sarah Rick, FNP-C, has joined North Oaks Primary Care - Livingston and is currently accepting new adult and pediatric patients, ages two and older.

From preventive screenings and annual checkups to treating illnesses and managing chronic diseases, Rick specializes in comprehensive healthcare for families.
"I approach patient care in a holistic manner,” says Rick. "I empower patients to make their own healthcare decisions by providing education, compassion and quality care that meets them where they are."
Rick has more than 15 years of experience working at North Oaks Health System with patients, most recently serving as a nurse practitioner with North Oaks Medical Center's Hospital Medicine program. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, she worked as a registered nurse on the intermediate and medical intensive care units and as a nurse technician on the intensive care and general surgery units.
Rick earned both master's and bachelor's degrees in Nursing from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond and is certified as a family nurse practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Professionally, Rick belongs to the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners. Nurse practitioners are nationally certified, state-licensed medical professionals who practice independently. Nurse practitioners are credentialed to manage the overall care of their patients, diagnose and treat medical conditions, prescribe medications and provide education to their patients on disease prevention and management.
North Oaks Primary Care - Livingston is located in Suite 200 at 17199 Spring Ranch Road on the North Oaks-Livingston Parish Medical Complex campus in Livingston.
Clinic hours of operation are 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. on Friday.
