Patient Transport Assistant Robert Honored as Employee of the Month

Patient Transport Assistant Robert has received North Oaks Health System's Employee of the Month Award for February 2021.

Robert joined the Environmental Services team in 2016 as a step toward his goal of establishing a career in the health care field. In 2017, he transferred to Radiology to become a Patient Transport Assistant. He shares that he loves the opportunity this role gives him to meet and get to know new people.

“I believe in staying positive and trying to bring a smile to the face of everyone I meet,” Robert shares.

A graduate of Amite High School, Robert lives in Roseland.

Music is Robert’s main interest outside of work, and he loves nothing better than taking in a live band’s performance.

“Robert is the definition of commitment to others and never encounters a stranger," affirms Vascular Service Line Operational Director Casey Alford. "He anticipates needs without having to be asked, and when it comes to quality and safety, he maintains a laser focus on doing the right things right. He is loved and respected by the Radiology team.”
