Digital Media & Production Specialist DJ Miller Honored for Courtesy and Compassion

North Oaks Health System President/CEO Michele Sutton recently recognized Digital Media & Production Specialist DJ Miller with an Extraordinary Story Award for his compassion and courtesy shown to our patients and visitors.

Recently, Digital Media & Production Specialist DJ Miller went above and beyond in displaying courtesy and compassion to our patients and visitors.

DJ had just entered the North Oaks Medical Center campus on his way in to the office for the day when he saw an patient who appeared lost. Concerned that the patient needed assistance, he stopped his car and asked how he could help. The patient told him that he was looking for one of our physician's clinics and was late for an appointment.

DJ offered to drive to the clinic and have the patient follow him in his own vehicle. Upon arrival at the clinic, DJ accompanied the patient inside to assist with the appointment check-in process.

Soon after, DJ again showed compassion to visitors who were walking through the hospital parking lot and got caught in an unexpected shower. He stopped his car and gave them his own umbrella.

We are fortunate to have an employee like DJ, who repeatedly and generously shares his compassion and talents with others.
