Medical Assistant III Tina Recognized as North Oaks Health System's Employee of the Month for April 2018

Medical Assistant III Tina has received the North Oaks Health System Employee of the Month Award for April 2018.

Tina worked as a Certified Medical Assistant with Magnolia Obstetrics & Gynecology Clinic from December 2012 to August 2017. She returned to the health system in the same position in December 2017 as a member of Dr. Gayle Beyl’s patient care team at North Oaks Primary Care Clinic in Livingston.

"I truly enjoy taking care of patients," shares Tina.

Tina studied at Southeastern Louisiana University before transferring and graduating from Compass Career College’s medical assistant program in Hammond.

Her career path was inspired by that of her mother, Nancy, who also works as a Medical Assistant with North Oaks Orthopaedic Specialty Center in Hammond.

Tina lives in Walker with her 5-year-old son, Braylon.

Shopping and exercising are among her favorite pastimes.
