Biomed Manager Ian Honored as Leader of the Month for October 2018

Biomed Manager Ian has received the North Oaks Health System Leader of the Month Award for October 2018.

"Contributing to patient care by helping to ensure our medical equipments' safe operation is a source of tremendous pride for me and my team," shares Ian.

Ian first joined the North Oaks Biomed team as a Laparoscopic Video Tech in 1993. Over the next 18 years, he took on increasing responsibility in Biomed as a Tech, Senior Tech and Supervisor before accepting his current position of Manager in 2014. He also leads the health system’s Hazard Response Team.

Ian attended Southeastern Louisiana University (SLU). Driven by his love of taking things apart to see how they work, he went on to earn an associate degree in Biomedical Electronics from Sullivan Technical Institute in Bogalusa.

Ian and his wife Michelle live in Robert. Their daughter, Danielle, is a senior majoring in Education at SLU.

Ian enjoys spending time with his family. He loves the outdoors and favors fishing and golfing as pastimes.
