Employee Services Specialist April Named Employee of the Month

Employee Services Specialist April has received the North Oaks Health System Employee of the Month Award for June 2016.

“Working in Human Resources gives me the opportunity to improve the lives of others through employment, and they, in turn, help to improve the lives of the patients we serve," April shares.

April joined North Oaks as a Human Resources Generalist in January 2014.

This past January, she accepted her current position and earned a master’s degree in Human Resource Management through Capella University based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

In addition to her master’s degree, April earned a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management with a concentration in Information Systems and a bachelor’s degree in Management with a concentration in Human Resources through Southeastern Louisiana University.

Professionally, she belongs to the Society for Human Resource Management.

April hails from New Orleans and lives in Hammond with her son Kaden, who is in second grade at Holy Ghost Catholic School.
