Buyer Melanie Named Employee of the Month

Buyer Melanie has received the North Oaks Health System Employee of the Month Award for January 2016.

“I'm dedicated to working with our team to effectively and efficiently provide our health care professionals with the equipment and supplies they need to care for our patients," Melanie shares.

Melanie joined North Oaks in 1989 as a Clerical Assistant in the Radiology Department. She became a Buyer in the Material Services Department in 2004.

She lives in Hammond and loves spending time with her fiancé Lynn, daughter Courtney and nephews Cameron, Connor and Case.

Her hobbies are gardening and shopping, and her favorite place to be is at the beach.

Melanie points to her family and daughter Courtney as her greatest sources of pride.

“One of Melanie’s most valuable assets is her attitude. She comes to work every day with a smile on her face and spreads joy," notes Material Services Director Jim Ahrend.
