Certified Engineer Specialist Jimmy Named Employee of the Month

Certified Engineer Specialist Jimmy has received the North Oaks Health System Employee of the Month Award for November 2015.

“Maintaining our equipment in working order is how I help to keep our patients and their families comfortable and safe,” Jimmy shares.

Jimmy joined the North Oaks team of engineers in 1992.

A native of Bogalusa, he earned a certificate in Fitter Fabrication through Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana.

He lives in Pine Grove with his wife Ann, who also is a North Oaks employee. They belong to Greenwell Springs Baptist Church.

Woodworking, photography, scrapbooking and camping are among Jimmy’s hobbies.

Jimmy has six grown step-children and stays young at heart by playing with his eleven step-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren.

“Jimmy always goes above and beyond simply doing his job,” notes Plant Operations Director Russell Hoover. “He gives that ‘little extra’ to surpass what’s expected.”
