Safe Sitter® Babysitting Course
The Safe Sitter® Babysitting Course is a structured, full‑day learning experience designed for youth ages 11–14. Students gain essential safety, childcare, first aid, and CPR skills to help them feel confident and responsible when caring for themselves or others.

Event Details
- Time: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm (arrive by 8:45 a.m.)
- Prompt dismissal at 3:00 pm.
The parent/guardian must accompany the child inside the building at the time of dropping off and sign the child into class. Instructors are unable to provide childcare after dismissal. Participants may only be released to individuals listed on the registration form with valid identification.
Food and Nutrition
Limited snacks, lunch, and water are provided throughout the day. If your child has specific food allergies, dietary restrictions, or food aversions, we strongly encourage you to pack a bag lunch, snacks, and drinks that meet their needs and do not require refrigeration. While breaks are provided, instructors are unable to manage individual dietary needs or provide alternative food options.
Registration Requirement
A completed registration form must be received no later than 7 days prior to the scheduled class date. Participants who do not submit a fully completed registration form by this deadline will be removed from the class roster, and no refunds will be issued.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations received more than 7 days prior to the scheduled class date will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 7 days of the class date are non-refundable, except in extenuating circumstances as determined by the program manager.
Illness Policy
Participants should not attend class if they have a fever, vomiting, diarrhea, rash or other contagious symptoms within 24 hours prior to class.

Registration Instructions
Register by clicking Register Now button. Once you complete registration, you will then need to click on Pay Now button to pay the class fee of $50 to complete the registration process. Payment is required to hold a seat in the requested class date. North Oaks Education Department will send a more detailed registration form to the email address provided to gather specific information about the child attending. This must be completed prior to class attendance.
Registration and payment are required at least 7 days prior to the selected class date. Lunch and snacks are provided; families may pack food for dietary needs. Prompt drop-off and pick-up are required.
Only register for one class date. Participants only need to attend one course.
