Environmental Services Supervisor Edward Named Employee of the Month

Environmental Services Supervisor Edward has been honored with the North Oaks Health System Employee of the Month Award for February 2015.
Edward joined the North Oaks team in 2004 as a Housekeeper and accepted his current position in 2012. He attended Southwest Community College in Summit, Miss. and is a certified cosmetologist.
“Edward takes pride in ensuring that the hospital environment is clean and sanitary,” shares Director of Infection Prevention/ Environmental Services Pam Vaccaro. “A true patient advocate, Edward enthusiastically embraces new challenges and always seeks ways to make the patient experience a positive one.”
A Hammond native, Edward is the father of four grown children and has one grandson.
He enjoys riding motorcycles, shooting pool, fishing and horseback riding. He is a member of Unity Christian Fellowship Baptist Church in Hammond.
