Ribbon Cutting Held for North Oaks Pediatric Specialty Clinic

North Oaks Health System and Children’s Hospital New Orleans celebrated the opening of North Oaks Pediatric Specialty Clinic on Friday, March 15, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The clinic opening builds upon North Oaks and Children’s Hospital’s existing relationship to enhance access to pediatric specialty care and improve health outcomes.

Adjacent to North Oaks Medical Center, the clinic is located at 15742 Medical Arts Dr. in the Medical Arts Plaza. In addition, North Oaks Pediatric Specialty Clinic encompasses 2,300 square feet and features six child-friendly examination rooms and an on-site laboratory.

North Oaks Pediatric Specialty Clinic will be staffed by highly skilled pediatric providers from Children’s Hospital. Planned subspecialty offerings include allergy and immunology, gastroenterology, neurology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, physical medicine and rehabilitation, plastic surgery and urology.

Additionally, some of these pediatric subspecialists will perform surgeries at North Oaks Medical Center and North Oaks Surgery Center. They will be supported by a team of nurses, scrub techs, anesthesiologists and certified registered nurse anesthetists who specialize in delivering care to infants and children.

Children’s also will continue to provide neonatology, pediatric hospital medicine and pediatric cardiology coverage for the Neonatal Intensive Care and Pediatric units at North Oaks Medical Center.

North Oaks Pediatric Specialty Clinic’s hours of operation are 8 am to 5 pm weekdays.
