Registered Respiratory Therapist Gerald Honored as Employee of the Month for June 2017

Registered Respiratory Therapist Gerald has received the North Oaks Health System Employee of the Month Award for June 2017.

"I treat patients the way I would want to be treated ... with respect, dignity and care," Gerald shares.

Gerald joined the North Oaks Medical Center Respiratory Care team in 2005 as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.

Originally from New Orleans, he earned an associate degree in Respiratory Therapy from Delgado Community College, New Orleans.

Gerald was motivated to pursue his career following his father’s diagnosis with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.

Gerald and his wife Victoria live in Slidell and have two children – Cailin, 19; and Hannah, 17.

Away from work, Gerald dedicates his time to his family. He enjoys “sleeping in” and completing DIY projects around his family’s home.
