Compensation & Benefits Director Rachel has received the North Oaks
Health System Leader of the Month Award for November 2017.
"Helping to keep our compensation and benefits packages competitive
to attract the best employees to care for our patients is important to
me," Rachel shares.
In 1994, Rachel joined Finance as an Accountant and was promoted to Reimbursement
Coordinator in 1997. After a six-month hiatus, she returned in April 2001
as an Accountant and soon became Accounting Program Manager and then Patient
Services Financial Manager. She joined Employee Services in 2006 as Compensation/
Benefits Coordinator and was promoted to Director in 2013.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a master’s
degree in Business Administration from Southeastern Louisiana University.
She is certified as a Public Accountant and Senior Professional in Human
Rachel and her husband Gregory live in Colyell with their children—Bryant,
18; Rebekah, 16; and Annabelle, 10.
Rachel is a pianist, and likes to read and support Bryant at his school
basketball and baseball games.

is consistent in her decision-making and never loses sight of the ‘human’
service we provide.“
