Interventional Radiology

Precise Technology. Revolutionary Care.

What is Interventional Radiology?

Simply put, it’s a highly-specialized field where doctors use imaging to guide minimally invasive procedures that diagnose, treat and cure many conditions. Benefits for patients include lower risks, smaller incisions, less pain and quicker recoveries.

People no longer need to travel far, even out-of-state for this level of specialized care – it is right here. Our Interventional Radiology Biplane Suite is equipped with extraordinary technology to streamline neurological, oncology and vascular care.

Neurological Care

Using the advanced imaging detail from our biplane unit, we can detect and treat life-threatening conditions like strokes and aneurysms through minimally invasive procedures. This further enhances the care we deliver as a Primary Stroke Center, as we have extraordinary capabilities that expand the stroke treatment window allowing more patients to regain functions like movement and speech.

Oncology Care

Our team provides biopsies and interventional therapies. We are equipped to deliver chemotherapy directly to tumors, as opposed taking a pill or through IVs.

Vascular Care

We are highly-skilled in utilizing image-guided techniques to diagnose or internally treat cardiovascular issues such as narrowed or blocked blood vessels. We also offer Inferior Vena Cava (IVC) filter placement and removals.
