Outpatient Testing & Therapy

Many of North Oaks' medical services are conveniently available on an outpatient basis.  Your doctor may schedule tests, procedures or therapies that generally do not require a hospital stay. Our outpatient services include:
 

Radiology Services

North Oaks Radiology Services offers a wide range of advanced diagnostic testing including: MRI, CT scans, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, mammography, diagnostic radiology (Xray), PET/CT, and bone densitometry. Our friendly technologists are fully certified and are dedicated to ensuring you a pleasant and comfortable patient experience.

Laboratory Services

Since 1960, the Department of Laboratories at North Oaks Health System has served the laboratory needs of our community and surrounding parishes.  We process lab results 24-hours a day, 7 days a week (including weekends and holidays) to provide timely, accurate results. Our laboratory staff takes particular care to perform your tests in a private, comfortable environment.

Rehabilitation Services

Your doctor may order special therapy to help you recover from surgery, an injury or an illness that has caused physical impairment.

The licensed therapists at North Oaks Rehabilitation Services provide Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy and much more.

Sleep Disorders Center

The Sleep Disorders Center at North Oaks provides overnight sleep studies designed to evaluate if you have a sleep disorder and determine possible treatment options.  Each one of our four soundproof, hotel-style bedrooms has an adjustable, queen-sized bed, recliner, a private bathroom and shower with handicapped accessibility. For your comfort, bedrooms are each furnished with a ceiling fan, night lights, a thermostat to control room air temperature and a television with a DVD/VCR player.
