We encourage and support community involvement. From the March of Dimes to Annual Physical Days for student-athletes, North Oaks sponsors hundreds of organizations and community events.
Founded in 1960 as a 60-bed, community-based hospital organization, North Oaks has evolved into a 355-bed health system. Under the direction of a volunteer Board of Commissioners, North Oaks’ growth has been based on foresight and community need.
James E. Cathey, Jr., President/Chief Executive Officer, explains it best, “Our North Oaks team is the foundation upon which we will continue to build and grow our organization to better serve our patients and our community. Our plans are designed to keep pace with the dynamic and expanding needs of area communities. Yet, as we grow we won’t forget who we are and from where we came. We are proud of our 50+ years of caring for the people in the communities we serve. We consider it a privilege and look forward to many more years of meeting their needs.”
Provide innovative solutions to our region’s health and wellness with a focus on accessibility, quality and accountability.
With the area North Oaks serves remaining one of the fastest growing regions in the state, North Oaks continues to meet the challenges of expansion, moving forward with new projects designed to meet current needs and prepare for the future.
The health system’s community based hospital organization status guarantees that all excess revenues flow directly back into the institution to expand or improve health care services.
With a focus on our patients, community and one another, we are dedicated to promoting wellness, restoring health and providing comfort.
