The Senior Care treatment team combines a multi-disciplinary professional support staff to assess the individual needs of each patient and facilitate a specialized treatment plan:

  • Psychiatrists
  • Recreational Therapists
  • Primary Care Physician
  • Social Workers
  • Physical Therapists
  • Psychologists
  • Allied Health Professionals
  • Occupational Therapists
  • Dietitians
  • Registered Nurses
  • Speech Therapists
  • Pharmacists

These staff professionals will:

  • Assess the unique needs of each individual and target specific and realistic expectations for improvement.
  • Assist the patient in returning to a healthier emotional and mental state.
  • Assist the patient in bringing their emotional and physical life into balance through a program of psychotherapy and structured activities.
  • Provide appropriate medication if indicated, or adjust present medication regime for more effective outcomes.
  • Provide consistent encouragement to redevelop functional independence through therapeutic and failure-free activities.
  • Evaluate and assist the patient in the use of adaptive devices appropriate to their real life circumstance.
  • Assist the patient’s family in learning new behavioral techniques and preventing the patient from regressing to a less adaptive state of mind.
  • Assist the patient and family in finding appropriate care and securing plans for the future.
  • Assist the patient and family in learning new coping skills and establishing mutually supportive relationships.
