Through a partnership with Alliance Imaging, North Oaks Outpatient Diagnostic Center offers PET/CT services to allow for earlier detection and treatment of cancer. PET/CT (Positron Emission Tomography/Computerized Tomography) combines the body’s functional information provided by a PET scan with the structural information of a CT scan. The fusion of the two scans provides a more complete picture for physicians to diagnose problems, determine the extent of disease, prescribe treatment, and track progress.

The Alliance Imaging PET/CT Unit is available outside the Outpatient Diagnostic Center from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesdays and Thursdays, for appointments. Scans can be scheduled by your physician through North Oaks Patient Scheduling at

Results are guaranteed to your physician within 24 hours of your visit. Our studies are read by a board-certified radiologist with Northshore Imaging Associates, LLC, and are available to your physician in a CD format upon request.
