As the newest addition to North Oaks Clinic, North Oaks Neurosurgery specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of disorders that affect the entire nervous system, including the spinal column, spinal cord, brain and peripheral nerves. Additional areas of specialty include complex spine and brain tumor surgeries, as well as minimally invasive techniques.

With the opening of North Oaks Neurosurgery Clinic, the health system welcomes David L. Masel, MD, FACS. Recognized as one of the “Top Neurosurgeons in Texas” by Texas Monthly Magazine in 2008, 2009 and 2010, Dr. Masel joins our community with 25 years of neurosurgical experience—15 of which were in private practice in El Paso.
