Intensive Care Unit – This 18-bed unit offers large, private rooms complete with individual windows and toileting facilities. The all RN nursing staff is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Most post-surgical heart patients stay on this unit from 12-72 hours.
Intermediate Care Unit – This 12-bed unit focuses on reuniting the heart patient with his/her family, while still maintaining the specialized monitoring needed. The all RN nursing staff here also is ACLS-certified.
Telemetry Unit – This 60-bed unit provides both semi-private and private room accommodations. Patients are monitored 24 hours a day by dedicated monitor technicians and an all ACLS-certified staff composed of RNs and LPNs.
